'Visual and auditory remembrance in retail environments'
A research project analyzing how auditory stimuli impact customer memory and experience in retail environments, conducted at KTH for the Human Perception for Information Technology course. Using methods like field studies and "deep hanging out" findings revealed that visual elements dominated over auditory in customer recall, providing insights for improving multisensory retail design. While the project as a whole was a group effort, I independently created the project poster displayed to the right.
A social cooking app prototype developed for KTH's Media Technology and Interaction Design course. Focused on enhancing cooking through shared experiences, the design process included user research, prototyping, and iterations. Emphasizing social features, the app fosters connection and communal cooking.
'Inclusive User Research for ADHD in HCI: A Literature Review'
A literature review on inclusive user research for individuals with ADHD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). A written assignment for KTH and a pre-study for a Master Thesis with Spotify. The paper identifies challenges such as cognitive load, sensory sensitivity, and ambiguity, offering strategies to create more accessible and user-centered research practices.
'A temporary break from Instagram as a method to study its effects on the users self esteem'
A bachelor’s thesis examining the impact of a temporary break from Instagram on users' self-esteem. Through a one-week field study using Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale, the research found a general increase in self-esteem, particularly among women, highlighting Instagram's potential influence on mental well-being.
Earning both a bachelor’s and a master’s in Interactive Media Technology at KTH provided me with a solid foundation in design, user research, and technology. Alongside my studies, I was an active member of the Media Technology section, participating in two student receptions and serving as an event and pub coordinator for two years.
Spending two years at Spotify as a Quality Assurance Tester
while studying at KTH deepened my passion for user experience and gave me hands-on experience in ensuring top-notch digital interactions. I even got to step out of my role and onto the stage, performing at Spotify events—so much fun!
